This year it is already 14th Karlštejn vintage held on Saturday 24.9. and on Sunday 25.9. 2011. 250 member parade in gothic costumes with the Roman Emperor and Czech king Charles IV. and his wife Eliška Pomořanská at the head will take visitors back to 14th century. A manifold programme for both children and the adult covers tasting of wines, half-fermented young wine and culinary specialities, period stands with handicraft shows, fencing, conjuring and pipers performance, learning historical dances and evening fire performance. This programme takes place for both days at the castle and around it.
